Calla Lily Address Book

Light blue suede leather covers this custom requested address book. Calla lilies were handcarved and embossed under the leather. Letters and months were handpainted into the book for use as an address book. This design is available for any type of book.

Phone Dial Address Book

A 1964 Rotary Dial from an old phone has been affixed to the cover of this Phone Number and Address Book. Have fun turning with the old dial...who can resist? A window is actually carved through the cover to expose the back of the dialing unit. The gears and components are visible through the clear plastic back of the dial assembly when the front book cover is opened. The original wires have been screwed to a wooden underlayment with brass screws. The five copper pieces you see along the bottom are also from the dialing mechanism. These are some of the electrical connectors which create the dialing circuit. They are raised from a brushed aluminum surface and have been transformed into somewhat of a kalimba/thumb piano...a musical instrument in which metal keys are struck with a finger to create various notes. The book ties shut with a soft black leather tie. Interior pages are white and aqua blue to match the phone dial. Smooth black leather is accented with a strip of black suede. Handmade paper coversheets line the interior. Letters and Months are handpainted throughout the book.
