Store bought and mass-produced Bibles consist of ‘Bonded Leather.’ This inferior product is composed of leather particles pressed together. It rips and falls apart easily since it is not a hide of solid leather. The feel of real leather is appealing to the hand, and it is far more durable.

After placing your order, we will direct you to where you will need to mail your Bible for its new special cover. This service is available for any type of book. Please note recovery does not consist of complete book or page restoration. Loose pages can be put together although ripped cannot.

Materials used & what will be done: The old cover is completely removed and a brand new hard cover is constructed. - Decorative Binding Cords are applied to the spine for tactile interest. - Archival bookbinding glue is brushed onto the spine. This will ensure a durable spine that will remain flexible and not crack over time with continued bending. - A built-in leather bookmark is attached to the spine. - Your Bible will be completed with handmade papers for coversheets. - Handstitched Headbands are optional on the spine ends, additional cost may apply. - Some page restoration or rebinding is possible. - All products used are archival & 100% acid free.
